Reader Survey – Your Biggest Writing Hurdles

Your Biggest Writing Hurdles - Ann Kroeker | Writing Coach

In this online space, I’m providing resources and inspiration to help you be more creative and productive.

Today I’m focusing particularly on writers. I want to know where writers are struggling, because whether you’re just starting out or writing full-time, you’ll face a variety of internal and external hurdles over the years. What about right now? What are your biggest writing hurdles?

Think beyond your specific genre such as a novelist’s struggle to create believable characters and or a poet’s challenge with a particular form. I’d love to know the struggles and hurdles you face in your writing life and in the writing process in general.

Your answers will help me create content for you and other writers. Through blog posts, podcasts and social media, I want to offer solutions.

Please click over to this simple survey and rank your top writing life hurdles. Click n/a for any that don’t apply and write in your hurdle if it isn’t on the list (question 2).

Responses are anonymous, and your participation will help others see they are not alone. If you have trouble getting to the official survey, drop a line in the comments below and simply tell us.

Thank you for sharing your struggles, and please forward to anyone in the midst of the writing life. I look forward to seeing the results and sharing those with you in a future post.
