It’s been a while since my last Writing Life podcast.
Day after day I kept looking at that item on my to-do list and finally resolved, even in the midst of life’s complications, to start up again.
Because I’ve learned that no matter how far you fall behind, you can get back in the game.
Simply start where you are.
I love that you can express words of wisdom in such a calming voice in less than 3 1/2 minutes. Posted it on my Facebook as I think there are many others who need to hear this. Thank you.
Kim, thank you so much for listening and sharing it with people. I hope it does encourage people!
YAY! (Turning imaginary cartwheel, doing Snoopy happy dance.)
So glad these have resumed. Love them at whatever pace they come. This one is especially good, especially the words I needed to hear this morning. Thank you!
Wow! I had no idea these brought you such delight!
They do. They’re always practical, helpful, and often also entertaining; they’re brief; the music is peppy; and your voice is an enhancement. Sound adds so much. It’s also encouraging to see how some element of life can be turned into material for a podcast. Live it; process it; draw analogies; figure out how it might become support for someone else; deliver.
Missed your face at the last NCFCA Tourney, heard your dad was ill, I hope he is better. My daughter Mary has expressed some interest in becoming an editor. I don’t know the first thing to tell her about this. Maybe you could coach her for a little while to try and flesh out this idea? Get back with me when you can, or maybe I will catch up with you at Regionals. loved this podcast! Great advice! Could be great for anything that needs restarted, not just writing. Cleaning out the garage, yup! Doing sit-ups? Double Yup!! 🙂
Yup, yup, Janis! I agree!
We can definitely chat then, or you can contact me via email. ann AT annkroeker DOT com
SO happy to see you back here again. And also? Grateful for some commiserating company. Yikes. Life gets weird sometimes, doesn’t it?? Love these kind exhortations, Ann. Thank you, thank you.
