His Handiwork

New life springs from decay; the rotting birch offers its fading strength to a cedar seedling.

A monarch drinks deep of summer’s sweetness.

Cloud formation streaks across blue sky.

Evening light brushes watercolor rose along textured storm clouds.

The Heavens declare the glory of God,and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.(Psalm 19:1)

Beautiful, beautiful. I just wanted to crawl inside the picture of the clouds and watch God’s handiwork. Thanks!

Using photos as the gratitudes was powerful. Beautiful photography!

In the mornings, I get up early so to have a moment of peace before the little ones arise. I sit outside with my tea and my Bible. I find that as much as I absorb from His Word, I also absorb from His creation…the hummingbirds, butterflies, and sparrows. I watch the sun’s rays pierce through the morning sky. And I take in His vastness and His love letter all at the same time. Somehow, they simply seem to compliment each other.

I’m with Jen — I am spending my morning “God in the Yard” time outdoors, with my Bible and coffee and God’s creations. It is absolutely amazing what I see — something new and different and astounding every morning!

Thanks for linking up, Ann — I love seeing your face there!

    This reminds me of:

“and the wrens have returned and their nesting in the hollow of that oak where his heart once had been. And he lifts up his arms in a blessing of being born again.”

You show us how rocks cry out in this bit. Thank you.
