Make-Do Mondays with Ann
Make-Do Mondays completely slipped my mind on Labor Day. Please forgive my oversight and be sure to link up your posts today, Tuesday.
Tomorrow should bring delight to all mathematically minded people out there. It’s going to be September 9, 2009, also written as 9-09-09.
Interestingly, at 9:00 (EDT) I will be interviewed on a live television show.
So if you think of it, as you enjoy the satisfaction of seeing all those 9s lined up in a row, would you please pray for me at 9 on 9-9-09?
Thanks!

Well, I’m a little behind too…
there is SO MUCH TO DO!! 🙂
Hope a yard-sale post counts as making do!
I’ll be praying for you!
XOXO!
Since my kids started back to school last week I’m still on the “preparing for school” kick. First, I very rarely buy brand new clothes for my kids. I make a list at the end of the school year of what they’ll need for the next year (even for those not in school) and get all their clothing at garage sales and thrift stores. For 4 kids I usually spend $100 a year and I always have the next size up in clothes so I don’t have to go out in the middle of the year once they’ve grown.
Also, in order to simplify our lives…on Sunday nights I make all of the kids’ sandwiches for the week and freeze them. Thankfully my kids are really into PB&J and they freeze well. Although meat sandwiches freeze well too. It saves us SO much time in the morning when we just pop the frozen sandwich in the lunch bag. It’s cheaper than buying those frozen uncrustable sandwiches or whatever they are called and they taste the same.
I’m so excited to pray on 9-9-09 @ 9am for you!
Make-Do-Mondays are fun and I’m relieved it’s back. My new blog is up and I hope to occasionally participate in Make-Do-Monday and Food on Fridays.
