Okay, so that Aristophanes quote cracked me up. I hope I will be clever enough to use it in conversation sometime because it’s flippin’ funny. And then of course everyone at the table will think I’m clever and brilliant, which is always a nice thing. (I think maybe I haven’t quite grasped the point of your post here…)

The people I laugh the hardest with seem to be the ones who like me even on my off days. My hardest laughs have always been with my Mom. She is the funniest person I know without even trying… A very elegant woman with a keen mind but a willingness to let down her guard. I knew I’d met my husband when I laughed so hard Pepsi flew out of all facial orifices.

How often have I wished that I could “Say something clever.” Sometimes it happens just out of the blue without even trying, how I love that. Inspiration might be another word for saying something clever. Never thought of it that way.
