Not So Fast is starting to show up here and there across the World Wide Web. I’m trying to find links to the blogs and reviews, posting them all under “News” at www.NotSoFastBook.com. Here are some recent places, including bloggers who are hosting a book giveaway. Pop over to visit these wonderful people (and enter to win)!
Giveaways!
• Blog appearance: Rachel Anne at Home Sanctuary is offering a copy of Not So Fast as a giveaway prize for her Company Girls. If you’re not a Company Girl, you probably can’t earn enough points in the time that’s left in the month. But stop by and check out the site–Rachel Anne is in the book as a “Live from the Slow Zone” contributor!
• Blog appearance: Karen Hossink, author of Confessions of an Irritable Mother and Finding Joy, interviewed me for her Surviving Motherhood blog. She’s giving away a copy of the book–enter to win!
• Blog appearance: Jane Anne at Gravity of Motion is giving away a copy of Not So Fast (among other things–there are gift cards galore) to express how thankful she is for so, so much.
• Scheduled blog appearance: Chele of The Bona Fide Life is hosting a blogwarming party next week. Check back in, because an interview with me along with a book giveaway will be part of the fun.
Non-Giveaway Web Appearances
• Blog appearance: A Good Theme is “Chillaxing” with Not So Fast.
• Book Review: Not So Fast Book Review at Jim Seybert – Strategic Planning Retreats – Strategy Audits – Executive Coaching
• Blog appearance: Andrea at The Flourishing Mother (also a “Live from the Slow Zone” contributor in the book), mentioned Not So Fast on her blog.
• Blog appearance: Pattie at her blog Fresh-Brewed Writer … Living a Fresh-Brewed Life! highlighted Not So Fast in her post “Simplify, simplify.”
• Radio interview: I was interviewed this week for WMBI’s “This Is The Day” with Nancy Turner (Moody Radio, Chicago; link opens a new window with an MP3 recording of the show). To do it justice, the reading at the end should have been delivered half as fast as I read it. It was Ann Voskamp’s poetic story “Still to Hear the Song” that she graciously allowed me to include in the book. Wish Ann V. could have read it.
